Level 3 Applied General Diploma in Art and Design

COURSE OVERVIEW

The UAL Level 3 Applied General Diploma in Art and Design is designed for 16 to 17 year old students seeking to develop their creative skills, knowledge, and understanding. This qualification provides a strong foundation for further education, including higher-level courses in art and design.
Students will have the opportunity to explore and refine their creativity within a structured yet challenging program. The skills gained throughout the course can also support progression into entry-level roles, apprenticeships, or training programs within the creative industry.
Ideal for those with a passion for the visual arts, this diploma offers a stimulating and engaging learning experience, preparing students for the next step in their creative journey.

This is a 1 year course, and if the uptake is at a high enough we will look to add a 2nd year to the course to allow students to complete the UAL Level 3 Applied General Extended Diploma in Art and Design.

FURTHER INFORMATION

Applicants must have Maths and English GCSE at 4 or higher

Must have Art GCSE 4 or higher, or an equivalent Level 2 Art qualification

Learners will be required to produce an portfolio of their Level 2 work at interview
